The Long Journey to Reach a Billion Bulbs

Everyone knows you can’t scale Mt. Everest in a day. You must work your way up from one camp to the next before you can try for the summit. At One Billion Bulbs we are using the same approach in our mission to record 1 billion light bulb purchases.  The following milestones will track our progress as we move toward our goal. Our home page map will always show where we stand on the current phase.

Phase 1 Goal	10,000 bulbs
Phase 2 Goal	50,000 bulbs
Phase 3 Goal	100,000 bulbs
Phase 4 Goal	500,000 bulbs
Phase 5 Goal*	1,000,000 bulbs
Phase BB Goal	1,000,000,000 bulbs!

Each phase will have its own color-coded map so visitors to the site can easily see where we stand relative to the current milestone. We are currently in Phase 4.

*We expect to add additional intermediate phases as needed to carry us to the ultimate goal of a billion bulbs.
